Hello and welcome to the careers website. The careers department is continuing to grow as the school really begin to grasp the importance of CEG in the curriculum. This year event such as THE BIG BUSINESS PITCH have proved very successful in providing quality WRL to pupils in year 10. We work very closely with CONNEXIONS who provide free information advice and guidance through interviews and assemblies. Our POLICY and ENTITLEMENTS statements can also be found through the site and will hopefully help unpack more of what goes on through the school under the CEG banner.
The school library contains up-to-date careers information including books, DVDs, journals and magazines. Also in the library you can find our latest IAG computer software. “Pathfinder” and “Odyssey” packages provide a pupil friendly source of information that can help you navigate the sometimes complicated world of careers. Our library has this year once again acheived the Connexions quality award mark
Interviews and drop in sessions happen on a weekly basis whilst assemblies, guest visits and impartial CEG sessions help to provide pupils with the necessary exposure to the world of work, education and qualifications that are currently available.
