Welcome to the Careers page

We are delighted to advise that we have achieved the prestigious 'Investors in Careers' once again!
This is the third time we have achieved the award and the school would like to thank all those who took part in the inspection

Quotes from the report:

''Sixth form provision is exemplary ''

''The link between the schools values and careers education throughout the school is a powerful aid to careers learning''

''The school continues to take seriously its responsibility to provide independent, impartial advice, and has maintained highly effective working relationships with the local provider.''

''Staff who contributed to the visit programme, were passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the career options and transition issues for their students''

''All students of the 2017 Year 11 cohort had a destination that was in Education, Employment or Training''

The careers department is continuing to grow as the school continue to be fully committed to this important part of the school.  We work very closely with CXK who provide information advice and guidance to Archbishops' students through interviews and assemblies. Our POLICY and ENTITLEMENTS statements can also be found through the site and will hopefully help unpack more of what goes on through the school under the CEG banner.

The school library contains up-to-date careers information including books, DVDs, journals and magazines.  Also in the library you can find our latest IAG computer software.

Interviews and drop in sessions happen on a weekly basis whilst assemblies, guest visits and impartial CEG sessions help to provide pupils with the necessary exposure to the world of work, education and qualifications that are currently available.

We continue to deliver a comprehensive Careers Curriculum across Key stages 3 and 4.  Each year will receive specially designed and age specific Careers lessons that cover a wide range of areas.  Each year will receive in excess of the recommended minimum provision as advised by the Kent CEIAG forum.  We also deliver an award winning package of CEIAG within the sixth form, which has led to us achieving the AAA award from KCC recently:
