Entry for Year 7 September 2024

Important Dates

Friday 01 September 2023 - Online application process opens. Go to www.kent.gov.uk/secondaryadmissions to register and apply.

Tuesday 31 October 2023 - Online application process closes for the main round. Any amendments after this date must be emailed to kentonlineadmissions@kent.gov.uk

Friday 01 March 2024 - Offers of school places sent to parents via email after 4pm

Friday 15 March 2024 - Parents/Carers should contact the school to accept/refuse the place that has been offered and can use the link in the offer email to ask for their child to be added to the waiting list of eligible schools named on the original application.

Thursday 28 March 2024 - Appeals need to be lodged by this date to be heard before September – appeals information can be found at www.kent.gov.uk/schoolappeals. You can only appeal for schools that were named on the application form.



In Year Admissions into Years 7 – 11

For students who wish to join The Archbishop’s School after the start of the school year, you will need to make an in year admission application. To do this, please complete the KCC In Year Application Form below and return to the school by email or post.

Upon receipt of a completed in year casual admission application, a place will be offered if there is a space available and there are no students on our waiting list.

If there is no space available the child will be placed on our waiting list and if a space becomes available our oversubscription criteria will be applied to the applicants in the relevant year group on the waiting list to determine who will be offered a place.
