Year 11 Transition
Year 10 into 11 Transition
We hosted a welcome and introduction session for parents/carers and students transitioning from Year 10 into Year 11 on 09 July 2025. Led by Miss Moore, Deputy Headteacher, these sessions offered an opportunity for parents/carers and students to hear about the following:
- How to maximise academic success during Year 11.
- How to support students' wellbeing during Year 11.
- Advance notice of key events during next year.
We will also be hosting a Year 11 Introduction Evening on Tuesday 09 September 2025. Year 11 students are at a point where they will feel substantial pressure to perform well in exams as they work towards their next steps in post-16 education. The introduction evening is put on to support parents/carers and will offer opportunities to discuss or hear about the following:
- How to support your child through exam year and how to ensure the student’s wellbeing.
- Ways to learn a little more about opportunities for post-16 studies – meet our Head of Sixth Form and Careers Lead.
- Meet the Maths, English, Science Directors of Learning and Religious Studies Subject Lead to hear a little more about how to support your child’s studies in these areas.
