Kent Youth County Council Election 2025

A total of 176 candidates signed up for the elections across Kent, with 26 of those in Canterbury!

KYCC is open to all young people aged 11–18, giving them a platform to represent their views and issues of young people in Kent and campaign on the top 3 issues affecting young people. Each year, 60 candidates are elected to make a difference.

We are proud of the students who took part in this election and are excited to see who wins! Our students are passionate about ensuring the voice of young people in Kent is heard, and we hope to have one of our own students stand as a candidate next year.
