Read our interview with Henry below.
When did you discover your passion for photography and modelling?
"I discovered my passion for photography relatively late into my academic journey. It was a last-minute decision as I had to choose between photography and biology (I was passionate about both subjects); however, I felt that photography was the right move as it sounded more engaging to my style of learning. I took a risk and it paid off in the end. When it comes to modelling, I had zero experience as I was scouted on the streets of Canterbury and I saw it as another opportunity to challenge myself. I think my favourite part about modelling is working with professionals".
Is there a brand you aspire to work with one day and why?
"I wouldn't necessarily say that there is a brand that I always have in mind. I just want to be around cool people and learn as much as I can about photography."
What advice would you have for those who are about to leave the school?
"Do whatever makes you happy”. Try not to worry about getting the highest paying job especially in such a fragile time when jobs and businesses come and go. Try to do something that makes you want to wake up every day, helps your personal growth and gives you the best memories you can have. Especially at this age when you still have the time to try again if do not succeed at first."
Everyone at The Archbishop’s School would like to wish Henry the very best of luck for the future.
